I am a PhD candidate in Geosciences at The University of Texas at Austin's Jackson School of Geosciences. My research focuses on investigating the evolution of anatomical, functional, physiological, and behavioral novelty in vertebrate animals, particularly in birds. To do so, I attempt a multidisciplinary approach uniting comparative anatomy, functional morphology/biomechanics, phylogenetics, and paleontology. As an educator, I'm working to unite my interests in anatomy and evolution to further health science education. Click the links above to learn more, and thank you for visiting my site!
