I am a PhD candidate in Paleobiology at The University of Texas at Austin's Jackson School of Geosciences. My research focuses on investigating the evolutionary dynamics of morphological change that leads to novelty in vertebrates, particularly in locomotion. I am also strongly interested in the mechanics of functional tradeoffs. I attempt to implement a multidisciplinary approach combining paleobiology with a foundation in living organismal anatomy, biomechanics, and behavior. As an educator, I'm working to bring my research and enthusiasm for the natural world to others. Click the links above to learn more, and thank you for visiting my site!
